IT Administrator (Contract Position) – Closed

Cord3 Innovation Inc. is seeking an IT Administrator (Contract Position) to join our team!

Cord3 Innovation Inc. is seeking an IT Administrator Contractor to support our team on a 6-month engagement, with the possibility of extension. This role is ideal for a skilled IT professional who thrives in both Windows and Linux environments, and who is comfortable managing a hybrid on-premises/cloud infrastructure. In addition to day-to-day IT administration, this contract will include a key project: the relocation of our IT infrastructure to a new office location, including the setup of wired workspaces, Wi-Fi, and core IT services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Windows and Linux-based IT infrastructure (on-premises and cloud).
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory (on-prem & Azure AD), and virtualized environments.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and developers, troubleshooting system, network, and application issues.
  • Oversee backups, system updates, and security configurations to ensure compliance with IT best practices.
  • Manage network services (VPN, firewalls, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Support identity and access management (IAM), including provisioning, permissions, and MFA.
  • Plan and execute the relocation of IT infrastructure to a new office, including wired and wireless networking setup.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for internet, networking, and infrastructure requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • College or university diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT administration, with expertise in Windows Server and Linux.
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and cloud-based IT services.
  • Knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., Proxmox, VMware).
  • Familiarity with Azure Web App Services, Azure Storage, and identity federation (ADFS, SAML, OAuth).
  • Strong understanding of networking (routing, firewalls, VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience setting up office IT infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.

Must hold or be eligible for a Canadian Security Clearance.

Must reside in the Ottawa, Ontario area.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and curious Junior QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a growth-focused role where you will learn from and support our senior engineers in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative, three-tiered product. What You’ll Do and Learn:

  • Learn and Contribute: Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated tests using modern frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
  • Find and Report Bugs: Perform manual and exploratory testing to identify, document, and track software defects and usability issues.
  • Work with CI/CD: Gain hands-on experience with our GitLab CI/CD pipelines, learning how to run automated test suites and interpret results to provide fast feedback to developers.
  • Explore Modern Infrastructure: Get exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and virtualization by supporting the team in creating automated test environments with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Proxmox.

We are seeking a results-driven and highly technical QA Lead to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will build and lead our automated testing strategy from the ground up, playing a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative, three-tiered, service-oriented architecture (SOA) product. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, QA automation, and DevOps. This role is for a passionate individual dedicated to building robust, scalable testing solutions and leveraging modern technologies like containerization, CI/CD, and AI-powered tools to deliver a secure and reliable product to our customers.

As the QA Lead, you will be a key member of the engineering team, working in close collaboration with developers and stakeholders. Your primary goal will be to architect and implement a reliable, repeatable automated testing framework for our multi-tiered product.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and implement a comprehensive, scalable, end-to-end automated testing framework.
  • Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for automated deployments and cross-browser testing.
  • Drive the expansion of end-to-end (E2E) test coverage to ensure high application stability and reliability.
  • Spearhead the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) by integrating Terraform and Ansible into GitLab CI/CD pipelines, enabling fully automated, ephemeral testing environments.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and implement modern AI-powered testing tools and strategies to enhance QA processes.

Cord3 Innovation Inc. is seeking a skilled Data Analyst Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to various analytical tasks related to the RCMP systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Review of RCMP Systems: Creating a report detailing RCMP information systems and data types (MS Word).
  2. Analysis of Information Exchange Requirements: Developing a report detailing information exchange requirements between RCMP systems (MS Word).
  3. Analysis of Information Exchange Requirements with External Stakeholders: Preparing a report detailing information exchange requirements with external stakeholders (MS Word).
  4. Analysis of Information Labelling Requirements: Compiling a report detailing information labelling requirements for information exchange (MS Word).
  5. Final Report: Summarizing activities carried out, results, and recommendations in a final report (MS Word).

Required Skills:

  • Data Modelling: Minimum of one (1) year experience using data modelling tools.
  • Statistical Modelling: Minimum of one (1) year experience using statistical modelling tools.
