Quality Assurance Director/Manager
Cord3 Innovation Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Director/Manager to join our team!
As a Quality Assurance Director/Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the quality standards of products or services within the organization. This role involves managing the QA team, implementing quality assurance policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and validating the functionality and performance of all our products throughout the release process.
As Cord3 continues our productization journey of our industry leading Data Centric Security technology, this role will be key in evolving and implementing our DevSecOps culture, processes, and toolset as well as ensuring the quality and efficiency of our Software Development Life Cycle.
Given we are still a relatively but rapidly growing company, this role will require a motivated individual to provide direction and oversight as well as hands on implementation and execution. The desire to achieve productization and to fully automate are critical.
Must hold or be eligible for a Canadian Security Clearance.
Must be a Canadian Citizen with a minimum of 10 years living in Canada.
Must reside in the Ottawa, Ontario area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish Quality Standards: Develop and implement quality standards for products or services.
- Monitor Quality Testing: Oversee quality testing processes and identify any gaps or issues.
- Compliance: Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Team Management: Supervise and train the quality assurance team.
- Productization: Continue to evolve our industry technology into a well rounded DCS product.
- Automation: Automate as much of our QA processes and testing as possible to allow us to continue to scale efficiently.
- Hands On: Initially hands on test cases creation and execution will be required as we continue to scale.
- Documentation: Handle quality reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in a quality assurance role.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of quality assurance methodologies and standards.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and statistical skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, quality management software, and automated testing, and performance testing toolsets.
- Productization Skills: Proven skills and experience transforming technology into product and services offering
- DevSecOps: Experience creating and working effectively in a DevSecOps culture and environment
- Use Case/Test Case Creation: Proven experience creating Use Cases and Test Cases for new product and services as well as specific client configurations/implementations
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, quality management, or a related discipline is required.
